Essentials by Jay was born from honesty. From the courage to talk about the things we're taught to hide — and the belief that every part of you deserves care that actually works.

Jay knew the frustration of standing in a pharmacy, scanning shelf after shelf, and walking out empty-handed. Not because the shelves were empty, but because nothing there was truly for you. Body acne, shaving irritation, intimate care, sensitive skin — real concerns that most people deal with, yet the beauty industry had almost nothing to offer. All the real care existed for the face. Everything else was an afterthought.

The more Jay talked about it, the more she realized she wasn't alone. Friends related. Strangers nodded. The embarrassment, the wasted money, the feeling of being unseen — it was shared by more people than anyone cared to admit.

So she stopped waiting for someone else to fix it and built it herself.
